Frank Greenwald: Navy Photographer

Frank W. Greenwald was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas. In 1950, Frank joined the Navy in San Antonio, Texas. He was able to work many places during his career as Chief Photographer's Mate. He spent 2 years in Kodiak, Alaska. He continued working in a frigid environment by then spending a year at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. But by then he'd had enough of the cold and spent a couple years in Florida, before spending some time in Albany, Georgia, and finally retiring.

Frank was married in 1956. He had a daughter born in Fredericksburg, VA, and a son born in Charleston, SC.
