Lucile Wilson is the author of We Write These Lines to Tell You. It is an autobiography of sorts, written by Lucile and her sister, Willa Jean. In the book, they tell the story of their lives growing up. Their mother is a primary character in this book. A talented musician, their mother wrote many songs. The book was named after one of these songs. Another of them was “Stars Fell On Alabama,” now a famous song.
