Mr. Andrew Jackson York is the son of the legendary Alvin C. York, a soldier who became famous for his actions during World War I. During the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in France, Sgt. York was responsible for taking down 32 machine guns, 28 German soldiers, and capturing 132 others. For this he received the Medal of Honor, and has been revered by many as a hero since.
