Ray Kelley is a Wayne County, Tennessee native who fought in the Army during World War II. He was drafted in 1944, just after he turned 20 years old. He was shipped across the Atlantic in the Queen Mary, before landing in Scotland. He then was sent across the English channel into France, and eventually to the front lines of battle.
